The IFA 2011 is the opportunity for Acer we present its Ultrabook, Aspire S3 13.3 inch format platform Intel Huron River is running and displays a very fine thickness and a contained weight.
As all Ultrabooks, the Acer Aspire S3 displays therefore content weight of 1.4 Kg but also a very fine thickness since it measures only 13 mm thick!
Here again, there are a design which is not unlike the MacBook Air from Apple with an alloy frame with aluminum and magnesium and a darker colours however but always a chiclet keyboard and a large touchpad buttons integrated into its surface. A reader of SD/MMC cards (on the right), a LED BackLight of 13.3 inches (1366 ? 768) screen, Dolby Home Theater v4 audio part and a webcam 1.3 megapixels with micro Crystal Eye are also part.
The connectors at the back includes Wi – Fi n and Bluetooth modules 4. 0 + HSR, an HDMI output and 2 USB 2.0 (but not USB 3.0 a priori) while the left side hosts an audio port.
Acer indicates that its Ultrabook Aspire S3 will be available this month at an including tariff between 799 dollars and 1199 dollars depending on the embedded configuration.
